Dr. Lyra Jakuleviciene is an international and European Union law professor at Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania). Over 20 years of her professional experience combines research, training and international consultancies on human rights, asylum and migration issues. She held various positions at UNHCR and UNDP. Currently, she serves as the Dean of Law School at Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania.
Her engagement with business and human rights issues dates 2004, when she initiated the establishment of the Responsible Business Network in Lithuania and has served as a focal point for UN Global Compact in the country, supported the Government of Lithuania in development of the first CSR strategy and lead several strategic regional and national CSR projects, including on business and human rights. Since 2019 she has been supporting the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in development of second National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights. She is a member of the Management Board of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights.
