Trinanjan Radhakrishnan

Oxfam India
Coordinator-Responsible Supply Chain & Sustainable Development
New Delhi
My work focusses on the intersections of responsible business conduct and the SDGs. At Oxfam India, I coordinate the Private Sector Engagement programme's work on tea and sugar supply and value chains in India. Using data-driven, evidence-backed research, Oxfam India advocates on issues of labour and human rights-- specifically, living wages, working conditions and occupation safety, and rights and entitlements-- of agricultural workers, small-scale farmers and marginalized communities involved in food value chains. Through its global campaigns and influencing efforts, Oxfam engages with companies, brands and supermarkets to ensure respect for human rights and life of dignity for the most vulnerable. My work also spans policy advocacy around business and human rights (BHR), corporate disclosures and responsible business conduct (RBC).

Prior to Oxfam India, I worked at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) where I led international advocacy on access to justice and SDG-16 (justice, accountability, transparency and human rights) at the Commonwealth Secretariat, UN Human Rights Council and the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. My educational background includes degrees in History, Politics, International Relations and Development Studies.
